Tammy has been in the beauty industry for over 35 years. She graduated in 1982 from Washington County Career and Technical High School with her Maryland license in Cosmetology. Tammy has had an obsession with beautiful hair since she was a child. That passion later grew into a lifelong career. Tammy finds true joy in helping others see the beauty in themselves. Haircoloring gives her the opportunity to push her artistic and creative boundaries. She loves creating the perfect color, cut and style for each guest, and connecting with her guests is the most rewarding aspect of her job. Tammy has had the opportunity to travel outside the country to train at the the prominent Vidal Sassoon Academy of London and to Toronto for education with Oscar Bond. Other education has included some of the top artists with Redken such as Sam Villa, Kris Sorbie, Ruth Roche, Brent Borreson, Beth Minardi and Chris Baran to name just a few. Tammy’s mission is to leave a legacy for her employees and guests by creating a salon that brings out and enhances the beauty to their lives. Her greatest blessings and sources of inspiration are her children Luke and Hope and her greatest joy is the time she spends with them. Tammy believes giving back to the community is very important to her as the community has supported her. She currently serves on the board for Brookes House, assisted Hospice with sponsoring the SPA Room for Doey's House and assisted with various BCA/CV projects. “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire’.
