Peter authored the book Reinventing Space: The Clear Logic of Salon Design and Retail Merchandising. The book provides a clear path for salon stylists and owners to follow and understand what creates a professional salon environment. Additionally, he designed the Redken Fixturing Program, which includes the Redken Lab. His designs of salons and spas have been published in magazines, newspapers and have also been the subject of television coverage. This year he is designing Images Salon in Corona del Mar, Evolve Salon and Spa in Pennsylvania, and numerous other salons across the country. Currently there are 27 projects in his office that he is working on. He travels frequently to do one-day salon consultations. He designed Ralph Lauren installations in Takashimaya, Singapore, as well as the prototype for Ralph Lauren Fragrance installations specifically for China in the past year. Peter has garnered Fragrance Institute launch awards for his clients including Tiffany, Safari Ralph Lauren, Polo Sport, Gio de Giorgio Armani, Coco and Allure. This year, he designed the testers for the launch of Big Pony for Ralph Lauren Fragrances, as well as in-store merchandising designs for Big Pony. His credits also include Chanel’s worldwide in-counter product treatment, as well as visual merchandising/product placement for Frederic Fekkai. The Redken Gallerie store at the Redken Exchange Fifth Avenue is also one of Peter’s designs and was his introduction to the world of Redken some 20 years ago. He has designed five exhibits for Tiffany &Co. including The Pearls of Tiffany, two exhibits for Elsa Peretti, as well as The World of Ralph Lauren, The face of Paloma Picasso and exhibits for both Concord and Movado watches.
